Developing a Quality Management System for the Latvian Health Inspectorate

On 16 February 2011 Latvian Health Inspectorate presented a webinar Developing a Quality Management System for the Latvian Health Inspectorate.
At the end of 2007 the Latvian Health Inspectorate was founded by the merging of 3 inspection bodies. Two years later, another 5 inspection bodies were added. The Health Inspectorate clearly was up for a challenge: How to deliver all of its new functions in an efficient, well-organized and effective manner?
It decided to develop an effective quality management system in conformance with ISO 9001 and ISO 17020 standards - one that would allow its employees to work together more effectively, provide a platform for sharing information, clarify responsibilities and guide each function in their daily work.
